Static caravan & Lodge Winter Shutdown Help Guide

When shutting down your holiday home once you have removed the items ( TV-electrical goods-food) you are taking home with you, turn the electric off at the mains the gas off at the tap your water off at the stop tap. Drain off the main water supply using the owner manuals guide, then drain all taps, toilets and showers and add antifreeze to the toilet system including the bowl and then down each plug hole.(If you have booked a professional drain down they will do this bit for you) Stack all your seating cushions on a table in the middle of the room to prevent damp and mold and stand all mattreses on there side, then move anything you can away from the walls and leave all internal doors including the fridge/freezer and curtains open, then get yourself some moisture traps and some Kontrol Krystals and place one moiture trap in each room to absorb the moisture and damp from the air. Outside make sure all items are secured or locked in your storage boxes for safety and against the wind snow and rain.  All thats left to do is a final check round and make sure everything is turned off, and that's you done for another season.
