Holiday Static Caravan in a spacious and private, woodland plot at Kelling Heath Holiday Park

We are a ‘Gold Rated’ caravan for cleanliness and condition as inspected by ‘Norfolk Stay’.

Generally we only take Saturday to Saturday bookings for our caravan. Please ensure your holiday is fully insured as per our terms and conditions.

Set in a large woodland plot on Kelling Heath Caravan Park you feel surrounded by trees and friendly animals yet have the comfort of knowing you are on a well fascilitated caravan park.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, nearby are lush fields and beaches that are a bird watchers paradise. Equally you can visit the seals or the safe, sandy beaches and quaint seaside towns of Sheringham, Cromer, Wells and Hunstanton. As you enter Sheringham on the right on the coast road you will also find ‘The Reef’ a new swimming pool and leisure facility. .

Kelling Heath Caravan Park has the North Norfolk steam railway running through it and you can catch a steam train from the site to Holt and Sheringham.

The caravan itself has all the luxuries of home with double glazing and central heating. We have had a caravan on-site for 34 years now with this latest model for 7 years. It is our second home and we love spending time at a Kelling Heath ourselves.

In terms of the interior there is also an electric, blow out fire in the front room for instant heat. The plot has ample parking space and is bordered by birch, pine, oak, chestnut trees and gorgeous rhododendron bushes. There is outside furniture with a bench and a picnic table at the side of the caravan. We are very fortunate to have one of the largest plots on site plus amazing picture windows in the lounge that give uninterrupted views of our plot and wildlife (frequent guests including playful squirrels, curious muntjac, friendly pheasants, rabbits and a whole host of woodland birds).

The caravan has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has an en suite and a king sized bed, the second bedroom has two smaller, single beds, overall sleeping 4 people. We provide pillows and duvets with covers for all beds but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels (we do provide a tea towel).

Enjoy your days sunning in our woodland clearing or keeping cool beneath the tree. Enjoy your evenings at the restaurant, club house, take in a live band at the village centre or just enjoy the AMAZING night skies with no light pollution to dilute the stars and moonlight. We are officially a U.K. ‘Dark Sky’ location and even, occasionally get visited by the Northern lights. Please do being a torch as on-site lighting is limited because of this.

Should you need provisions during there is a local Budgens supermarket at Holt and a large Tesco supermarket in Sheringham. Further afield there is a Lidl and a Morrisons in both Cromer and Fakenham. The site itself also has a well stocked shop for food and gifts a short walk to the site centre from our plot.

On arrival at Kelling Heath, please be sure to sign in at the main reception in the village square where you will receive a welcome pack to enhance your stay at our caravan with up to date park information and activities.

When you hire our caravan we provide duvets and duvet covers and pillows. You will need to bring your own pillow cases, sheets and towels. If you don’t have a fitted, king size sheet for the master bedroom then a flat, double sheet will do. We do provide a tea towel in the kitchen for drying the dishes.

We provide a large selection of DVDs for use as on the North Norfolk coast the TV signal can be weak in periods of High Pressure in the summer. We also provide a selection of games and books in the cupboards.

Outside facilities include a picnic area and table and a garden bench for your use. Our caravan also features a wide ramp and a decking area for outdoor eating and just enjoying the beautiful views.

To the front of the caravan we are fortunate to have a large, picture window. In front of the window are several bird feeding stations for your use. You will see a wide range of animals visit our plot from squirrels and rabbits to muntjacs and marsh harriers circling overhead.

Our caravan is also our second home and we dearly love visiting it ourselves so please leave it as you find it although we do clean the caravan thoroughly ourselves in between guest visits.

Please note, the charging of electric cars is not allowed from our caravan but there are dedicated charging points in the site centre that can be used to charge electric cars.
